The following Sea Gull Lighting® brand model numbers are included in this action:

1. We are requiring individuals in the possession of fixtures 5217-02, 5217-746, and 5217-786 purchased from Sea Gull Lighting or one of its distributor’s between the dates of October 1, 2003 and October 31, 2004 and individuals in the possession of fixture’s 31021-794, 31022-794 & 66022-794 purchased from Sea Gull Lighting or one of its distributor’s between the dates of June 1, 2004 and October 31, 2004 to contact Sea Gull Lighting to request a replacement component (screw collar) manufactured to the proper safety and quality standards. No complete fixtures are being recalled.

2. Distributors: It is imperative for you to assist us with this corrective action by contacting customers who have purchased the above referenced model numbers during the above mentioned timeframes to alert them of Sea Gull Lighting’s voluntary component exchange and present the possible risk of continued use including construction failure.
   
   
3. Newly manufactured products that meet the necessary safety and quality standards will be identified by a sticker (NSC) on the exterior of the product’s carton next to the product label.
