IMPORTANT - PRODUCT RECALL NOTIFICATION
IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED!

Sea Gull Lighting Products, Inc. is conducting a voluntary product recall on selected ceiling mounted lighting fixtures after its discovery that the socket wires of these products do not meet manufacturing specifications required for the application of these products and present possible safety hazards.

The following Sea Gull Lighting® brand model numbers are included in this recall:

5359-01    5359-02    5359-15    5370-15    5370-98    5372-02

The following corrective measures are necessary to ensure the safety of consumers with these products in use by Sea Gull Lighting Distributors, Dealers, Building Professionals, Installers, Specifiers, and Other Resellers:

1. We are requiring that the above listed fixtures, purchased from Sea Gull Lighting between the dates of July 1, 2002 through February 28, 2003 be returned to Sea Gull Lighting in exchange for replacement products manufactured to the proper safety and quality standards.

2. It is imperative for you to assist us with this recall by contacting customers who have purchased the above referenced model numbers since July, 1, 2002 to alert them of Sea Gull Lighting s voluntary recall and present the possible risk of continued use including fire.
   
   
3. Newly manufactured products, that meet the necessary safety and quality standards will be identified by a sticker on the exterior of the product s carton, as well as on the product s interior mounting pan, reading 100% Inspected and Approved, March 2003 .
