Sea Gull Lighting Names Manuel Lynch Director of Product Technology

Riverside, New Jersey (December 1, 2006) -- Sea Gull Lighting Products, LLC (www.SeaGullLighting.com) announced today that Manuel Lynch, a leading expert on LED technologies for the residential and consumer markets, has been named the company’s director of product technology. Lynch will be responsible for greatly advancing the company’s use of LED and emerging technologies, which have been widely recognized for reducing energy consumption and extending the life of wide-ranging decorative and functional lighting products.

Lynch joins the two-time ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year award winner with more than 15 years of detailed semiconductor and microelectronics experience. Before Sea Gull Lighting, he served as president and CEO of Permlight Products, a leading developer and manufacturer of thermally managed LED lighting systems based in Tustin, Calif. In addition to this position, Lynch was also an analyst and management consultant for the private investment and consulting firm of Wechsler and Company as well as held several senior-level marketing positions with Microsemi Corporation, a leading manufacture of semiconductors for the military, medical and consumer markets. For five years, he also worked as a sales and marketing communications manager for Solid State Devices in La Mirada, Calif.

Lynch holds a bachelor’s of arts degree from the University of Dallas and currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
