Generation Brands Appoints Daniel S Macsherry as Chief Financial Officer

Monday, August 7, 2006, (Cary, North Carolina) Generation Brands announced today that Daniel S. Macsherry has joined the company as Executive Vice-President & Chief Financial Officer. Macsherry is a proven financial executive, and brings broad cross-functional knowledge and results driven leadership to the organization as Generation Brands develops and executes its strategic plan.
Mr. Macsherry was most recently CFO / Vice President of Finance of Irwin Industrial Tool (a division of Newell Rubbermaid), a position he had held since 2004. Prior to Irwin Tool, Mr. Macsherry had been Executive Vice President of Business Development for Juno Lighting Group, following senior financial management roles at Black & Decker Corporation and The Stanley Works.
